Director
Danika Hofmann
Operations Manager
Danika, Ameya Care’s Operations Manager, brings with her 15 years of experience in the disability space. Originally from Germany, she has made Australia her home since 2005. Growing up in a family who worked in the disability sector, she discovered her passion early on. From support roles to leadership positions, Danika thrives on enabling participants to have choice and independence over their lives and decisions. Beyond work, she cherishes time with her two kids, enjoys cooking, swimming, travelling, and sipping a cocktail while catching up with friends.
Rebecca Fasano
SLES Services Manager
Rebecca is our SLES Services Manager, bringing over 7 years of experience in the disability space. Originally from the serene shores of Aldinga Beach, South Australia, Rebecca has called Cairns home for three years now. She finds professional fulfilment in witnessing the progression and helping Ameya's participants turn their goals into achievements, cherishing the opportunity to be a part of their growth journey. Beyond the office, Rebecca embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying what Tropical North Queensland has to offer - beaches, waterfalls, and more - with family and friends.
Maya Schaefer - Coates
Compliance and Media Officer
Maya is Ameya Care’s Compliance and Media Officer with a strong track record of optimising processes for maximum efficiency, committed to driving organisational excellence through proactive measures and strategic initiatives. Outside of work, Maya finds fulfillment in yoga and photography, and enjoys sharing her home with her husband and two beloved cats. Maya's passion for fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement is driven by her dedication to empowering individuals and organisations to thrive with integrity and accountability.
Rebekkah Castino
Support Services Coordinator Tablelands
Rebekkah is the Tablelands Support Service Coordinator for Ameya Care. Committed to providing exceptional support services tailored to meet the diverse needs of the Tablelands and surrounding communities. Rebekkah comes to Ameya with 10+ years of experience in the disability sector, supporting troubled youth programs and fostering community engagement initiatives since the age of 18.
Rebekkah’s dedication to working in the disability space comes from her passion to support families. She understands that even the smallest acts can make a significant difference in a family’s mindset.
Outside of work, Rebekkah lives in the Tablelands with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending quality family time skiing, reading, or crafting.
