Virtual Reality for Behavioral Therapy
Summary
Immersive Virtual Reality (VR) holds significant promise as a flexible and scalable intervention tool to help individuals with social, physical and cognitive challenges learn and develop practical life skills.
Previous research suggests that VR is a motivating intervention platform with further results that confirm its great impact. It is used for non verbal, minimally verbal, verbal or highly verbal teenagers and adults.
Our customisable VR experiences, from navigating streets to workplace simulations, serve to progress in real-world challenges.
The following digital library describes VR application designed to teach essential skills for interacting
in several situations in life. Here, we describe a relatively large-scale, systematic examination of the usability of an immersive VR training program, touching
on areas such as: communication, community and daily life, conversational skills,
emotional regulation, focusing and safety.
